There have been a couple of groups started.  One is on the knitting and crochet community site called Ravelry.  If you are a member there you can got to Lawrence King Memorial group or go to the Lawrence King Memorial Group Blog if you do not have access to the Ravelry Site.

Lawrence was a charitable young man who loved the soldiers.  He wanted to do something so donated scarves.  I am unsure as to which groups that he donated to, however I have found two groups on the net that donate scarves to the soldiers.  One is  Scarves for Soldiers and the other is Knit Your Bit.  Also try AnySoldier.com, AnyMarine.com, AnyAirman.com, AnySailor.com, or AnyCoastGuardsmen.com.

We are putting together a comfortghan for Mrs. King, patterns are on the blog and on the Ravelry group.  I was inspired because my son and step-son have been bullied because they are different.  It has been an ongoing issue that culminated into a home invasion last week.

Please let Mrs. King know that the family is in our hearts and prayers.
