Dear Larry, and the King family: I have never actually gotten the opportunity to meet any of you, but today is the day of silence in memory of Larry. I am heartbroken that such special people are taken away from us because of who they are(black, white, gay, lesbian, transsexual. In my office we have 2 gay men, and one transexxual person working for us and they are three of the most amazing people i have ever met in my entire life. Larry has made a special impact in my life and i appreciate him and the people that have addmitted openly that they are gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, transexxual etc. Dont ever live out of fear that is not the way life should be lived, live it to the fullest, learn from everybody, and know that no matter who you are you will always be loved. RIP Larry King and thank you

to all who loved Lawrence King I am so very sorry for your loss words can't describe how this makes me feel as a person/parent to know that they're people in the world who think they have the right to judge when only God has that right because he made us all however we are. He's an angel now and there's no more pain and heartache I'm sure. Sincerly, LSG

My heart and prayers go out to Larry's family and friends. I can't express how much sympathy I have for them. I am homosexual, and feel so deepy grateful to have the life I have. I am married to a man, and have the most loving relationship, and accepting family. Just to think, that Larry never got the chance to fall in love, the boy who he liked ended his life, its just so tragic. That he will never fall in love, or have the oppritunity like me to marry the man he loves, it makes me feel so lucky, and my heart is with his famiy, and he will be a part of the history of gay struggle and homophobia and hate crimes forever, may his life and death make a change in this world!! ~Devon Poole

There are no words to explain, describe or justify what has happened. He is absolutely beautiful, brave and alive and that is how I am going to remember him in my prayers. I know he's a better place now where he is loved for he is.

I have never met Lawrence King, and now I never will. May he rest in peace, may his family find comfort, and may people learn to spread tolerance instead of hate. Never forget this beautiful young man or the message of acceptance he put out into the world!
