OMG where do I begin? This story is so traggic that it has had me in tears most of yesterday and also today. I only heard about this issue yesterday morning. I am a webdesigner and have temp. closed my website to allow the embedded code of a YouTube Video that Ellen did on her show to go out to my inter Commnuity. This is something that should not have happened. It sadness me to think that we are now in 2008 and nothing has changed, in real aspect to hate crimes. Cause thats exactly what this was ... hate ... and its not acceptable. We need to stand together to "Erase the Hate". I am just so atm

This event is horrific and deeply saddens me. For someone to be killed because they are gay is unacceptable. Are we ever going to live in a world where people are treated anything close to remotely EQUAL? We are all the same inside. My condolences go out to Larrys family. Larry, may you rest in peace <3.

As long as men deny the human heart its gentle beat, as long as words of hate are put into God's mouth, as long as Ignorance is named Knowledge, and Fear is called Bravery, our beautiful, loving, gentle children will continue to die, if not in body, then in spirit. God bless ALL our children, however their loving hearts beat. My dear little brother Larry: No more tears! I see you standing in the greatest dressing room in the Universe, in awe of all the beautiful costumes. Party on, babydoll, you're in incredible loving company now, and the Joy goes on forever!

such a lovely shining light to be sundered so brutally by the haters: God for sure says that forgiveness will never be given to those who harm the innocent. It's a sign of the power of Larry's love that his light will not be put out, but the memory of those who hated him will long be forgotten. Thank you Larry, and thank you for Larry. Love and peace and prayers for peace.

As a mother who lost a son on the brink of adulthood, my heart goes out to you and all your family. What a beautiful, beautiful child! I hope you take comfort in having been blessed with his presence for the years he was on earth, and I hope you will eventually sense that his power now to influence the betterment of humanity is far greater from his celestial realm than it ever could have been here on earth. He has touched so many lives, your beautiful Lawrence, and he has become a gift to the world.

Larry should not have been murdered. Nobody deserves his fate. Nobody. Every single soul is so beautiful and so precious. How could someone take a soul? Steal a life? This is appalling. A boy, a sweet boy, loved somebody. And just for that they took his life. It doesn't matter who we love or why we love them. Love, in itself, loving another human, is beautiful. Love can save the world if we are not afraid to hide it. Larry was not afraid to hide his love. It is only tragic that the most peaceful people on Earth meet the most violent ends. I am so sorry for what happened to Larry and to other people like him.

This is such a tragedy that this child had to die because of a lack of tolerance for who he was. Its incredibly tragic in so many ways... so many, many lives destroyed by hate. I can only pray that god gives you the strength & courage to overcome this tragedy. Please continue to look for that silver lining because its there... alot of lives were changed by Larry's death bot only those in his immediate circle but hundreds of thousands of lives around the world were changed because finally people are being made to see the terrible tragedies that hatred brings. Larry will live on forever in the hearts of those who his story touch & in the minds of those who continue to fight for equality for ALL. He will never be lost. But don't forget that Brandon was also a victim in this in our world where we teach our children hate. Pray that he gets the help he needs and learns that being different doesn't make someone less of a human being and condemn them to death.
