I am truly saddened at this tragedy and it has touched me deeply. I have just become a new mum and the thought of this ever happening to a child of my own makes me very sad. I honestly believe though that the new generation need to be taught that its ok to be different and its ok for others to be different. I will make my promise to Larry and to everyone affected by this horrible tragedy that i will be one parent that teaches my daughter its ok to be different and its ok to befriend someone who is different. May Larry's Family try to find some peace. RIP Larry.

My prayers are with the family and friends of Larry. May he be blessed for his amazing courage. I am a middle school teacher and will congtinue to advocate for our youth; no mattter what choices they make. Blessed be.

From Oscar Wilde's tombstone in Père-Lachaise cemetery in Paris: And alien tears will fill for him Pity's long broken urn, For his mourners will be outcast men, And outcasts always mourn.

This is so very sad...we must learn respect our differences, and look for the things we have in common with one another. May his family be able to use this terrible experience and try to shine a bright light into the dark and make a difference in educating the ignorance of those that hate what they do not understand...lets make this a better world, one person at a time. Hate is simply fear and ignorance of the unknown. May Larry's soul travel in peace, love and harmony. Maria

I'm sorry Larry! Love for you

I am so sorry for you loss. As a bisexual and with a gay sister and sister in law this kind of thing frightens me, I have no words for the feeling I am feeling, I know what its like to lose a son but not to violence. Rest in Peace Larry

Hi i'm a student from italy... today I read an article on the newspaper by this guy Larry King ... Killed only because he was himself ... I immediately went to inform on the Internet and I found this site dedicated to this little angel .. What I mean is that it is a Vergognia, even animals behave this way, I am much more responsible and intelligent certain human beings ... How to shoot a young man of only 15 years ???... He had his life, his dreams, his projects, all stroncati from un'insensata homophobia ... But you are wrong ???.. It is also their right love .. It is not written anywhere that is wrong, even on BiBBia .. Then for those who hate gay people because they do not think of himself ???.. You are not better people, proved only great immaturity ... We are in 2008 than in 1800 ... Open a little of your mind ... Nobody has the right to giuducare .. And I will end .... Hello Larry ... Kisses from Italy Sorry for my English

I am so shocked and horrified to know that such a young child could be killed by another young child. I hope and pray that Lawrence gets the justice that he deserves and that his assailant gets the pinichment that he deserves. I also hope that this tragedy forces the US government to make some radical changes to ensure that such a tragedy never happens again by educating young people and teaching them about tolerance, acceptance, human diversity and love. Rest in Peace Dear Larry!!!
