THIS CHILD OF GOD SHOULD NOT HAVE DIED. WE AS A SOCIETY FAILED HIM. DOESN'T ANYONE HAVE ANY LOVE LEFT IN THEIR HEARTS? I PRAY FOR THE HEALING OF ALL THOSE INVOLVED.

why do people do things like this . it honestly breaks my heart to see how the human race can do such lewd and cruel acts. we are ONE people. we are No different from each other. KINDNESS is the key to love and equality. we can NOT go on like this. people may look different, speak different, and act different but it is up to GOD to decide when its there time to leave and where they will go in the next life. discrimination comes in many shapes and forms and the moment it becomes deadly is when it is given recogniton. things like this have been happening for years: brandon teena, gewen arajou, fred martinez. i may be straight and am not confused about my gender but i wil not sit and watch while things like this happen ! i may be young but i know right from wrong and this is wrong!!!stop discrimination against all beings. dont let racial, lgbt, or gender slurs be said against anyone. don't let anyone discrimante against people. i pray that one day will will be equal, in all eyes. rip

My heart goes out to Larry's family. Being a lesbian, actually legally married to a woman, I have experienced predjudice from society due to my lifestyle, and at time is causes me to keep my personal business to myself to avoid the discriminatory questions and comments. It is horrible that in this day and age there is still so much hate towards people who are considered "different" when in reality his sexual preference should have had absolutly nothing to do with the fact that he was a 15 yr old child. He should not just be remembered as the "gay" boy be should be remembered for the personality that he possesed, and the joy he brought to people. His life was stolen from him, and the coward that did this no matter the age should be FORCED to pay the utmost price!!!!!! My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I am so sorry for your loss, God has now gained another gorgeous angel. RIP Sweet Angel

I'm sorry for your loss. This is truely devastating. There is no doubt in my mind that he was a courageous boy. I have made it my personal mission to do as much as one person can to stop these types of things. Discrimination in any form is never okay. May Larry's memories always remain with you. You're in my prayers. -Ashley

I was deeply saddened to hear about Larry. No one deserves death just because of their sexuality. I would like to offer my sincerest regrets to Larry's family.

I am so sorry for the tragedy that your family must endure. I can not imagine such sadness and grief in the lives of my own children. It is my hope that this horrible hate crime can serve as a starting point for tolerance in our schools, homes and in public. Larry did not die in vain.
