I am still deeply sad about this tragic incident. This should not have happened to Lawrence. The school district and teachers should be ashamed of themselves for letting this boy down. There is no way that the adults in that school can claim that they did not know what was going on. each and everyone of those adults now have to live with themselves and question wheather they did enoug to protect this child. well, i have the answer, THEY DID NOT!!!!! Please excuse my anger, but i can not help it. Lawrence is in a better place where he can express hemself the way he wants without any taunting or dirty looks by small minding teens or adults. Shame on you (the school district) for allowing this hateful environemt to exist on campus.

I'm so saddened by this incident. An innocent child has his life taken away. Who made the other kid God, to judge his destiny and decide his ultimate fate. May God be with them BOTH.

As a parent of an openly gay son, I am saddened for your family's loss. I fear for my own son every day, even as I stand in awe of his courage to be who he is to be.

When I first read about Larry in People magazine, I started to cry. I don't know what would make anybody do such a horrible thing. I pray for Larry, that his soul be blessed, and that his generous spirit be enjoying God's heavenly kingdom. May God bless your family, and your friends, and everyone who has been affected by this horrific incident. There's a messgae in all this: that bullying, and hate be stopped in schools all around America, because if we don't do something about this, than who will? Again, God bless your family, and God bless Larry's soul, and that his soul is enjoying heaven, and lokking down upon his family in grace. I hope that everyone who reads this does what this website's motto is: Remember Larry King.

I am unable to find the words to express the depth of sadness I feel for the loss of this beautiful boy. Sadness for the family, sadness for the hatred and fear and intolerance that still consumes so many of our citizens, and sadness, also, for the realization that Brandon may wake up to one day. We can only hope that the incredible loss of Larry's life will help to move us collectively towards greater compassion for difference.

your child was an incredibly beautiful human. there are no words that can convey how senseless this tragedy is. my only hope is that somehow, someway, this horrible thing will open people's eyes and larry's life can help stop this from happening to anyone else. that being said, there is nothing that can replace your child and for that i am truly sorry. you are all in my thoughts and hope that you have the support and community that you need right now.

I am deeply sorry for your loss - Larry seemed like such a sweet boy. I will keep him in my thoughts, and I know that he will not be forgotten by any of us.

I was so saddened by this killing and know that he is in Heaven with our Lord waiting for us to join him with all the angels and saints. Eternal rest grant onto him Oh Lord and let your light shine upon him, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.:
