What a beautiful courageous boy... my heart goes out to everyone grieving his loss. He was a brave warrior, true to himself, daring to be different in a society to tries to clone us all into one mold. So sad that it cost him his life. I teach my child to love herself for who she is, to be proud of what makes her unique and special...most of all to respect others and cherish what makes others unique and special. Clearly Larry was raised to be the same... too bad we all could not raise our kids to be like this... the world would be a better place for sure! Brandon McInerey was a victim in this too... exposed to violence and hatred he knew nothing else... so sad

I went to the vigil for Larry in W. Hollywood. As I was in jr. high over 30 years ago, i'm stunned males in our culture are still so obsessed w/ notions of masculinity, etc and wonder why a 14 year old had access to a firearm. More reason we need strict gun control of weapons in this country. Guns are meant to kill!

When I got a facebook invitation to be a part of Remembering Larry, I thought it was a chain or a scam. One of those stories that never really happened. I'm glad I joined the group and found this site. I am disgusted that people think it's okay to murder somebody because of being gay. It's not okay to murder, hit, laugh at, or demean somebody because of one difference. Larry did not deserve to die. The only good that can come out of his death is change in the world we live in. I hope with every ounce of life in me that I will live to see that change. God bless you all, and spread the word. We'll miss you Larry. --Rachael, 15, PA

It is a sad day in our country when a child is condemed for his race, beliefs or sexual orientation. If people don't start learning a little compassion we are going to turn into a nation no one would want to be in. Be tolerant people, live youe life and let other's live as they please. God bless Larry and keep him from harm until he is in his family's arms again.

I fight back the tears, as I feel the loss, the grief, that you are experiencing.....my heart goes out to you, as you enter the ranks of those who are suffering due to the hate and intolerance of others...when, WHEN, will this truly be; "One nation, under God,". God, who is Pure Love, and knows no hate. May the joy that you knew from having Larry in your life, eventually outweigh your pain at having him so unjustly and prematurely ripped from your 'now'. Peace be with you.

May God be with your family at this trying time in your lives, and may Larry be at peace with the angels in heaven.. I bind myself today. God's power to guide me. God's might to uphold me. God's wisdom to teach me. God's eye to watch over me. God's ear to hear me. God's word to give me speech. God's hand to guide. God's way to lie before me. God's shield to shelter me. God's host to secure me. - St.Patrick's Prayer....

My heart goes out to the family of Larry King. He was a beautiful child with an even more beautiful smile.Although he is not with you in person, he will always be with you in spirit. Larry will never be forgotten in our hearts.
