Hearing this tragic news halfway around the world, I'am deeply saddened about what happened to Larry. He did not deserve that kind of treatment. To be free and confident about who you are is so fascinating especially for a 15 year old with such soul. I could not believe that our society has become so violent that the message has reached the minds of the youth. Hate, anger and wrath fills the hearts of a lot people right now because of this rude awakening. We may come from different walks of life, speak in different languages, men, women, gay or straight we are all equal. No one is a lesser person!Change must be done, there are so many incidents like this happening around the world and it has to STOP!

God puts angels on earth so that we can wake up and recognize the atrocities that we commit. No doubt Larry is an angel.

Today I saw Ellen's message about your son on the internet. I was so shocked and horrified.....and outraged. I am only 22 and my generation is apparently the "enlighted", politically aware and equality seeking generation. It makes me so sad to think that young children, that are not even old enough to drive, can do something of such a hateful nature. I am so deeply sorry for your loss and I can not begin to imagine how you are feeling right now. I never knew your son, but I really respect and admire his courage to stand up and be proud of who he was. The world is a sad place without him, but I know that his passing will spark discussion and change that America (and the world in general) so greatly neeeds. God bless you and your loved ones.

What a horrible sickening story...the pictures show such a young vibrant boy with a beautiful smile--his death is horrifying. All of those who knew and loved him are in my prayers, as well as our deteriorating nation. So senseless...
