Larry, I did not know you. But I wept for you, as I remember my being persecuted in school as a gay child, myself. I know how you felt, being mistreated because of who you were. I am with you in my thoughts. I am a 65 year old man, and sadly, understanding of gay people has not changed much over the years. Perhaps your death will make the world a better place for other gay children, so that they will not be so mistreated as you and I were by those who failed to compassionately understand us.
Rest in peace dear Larry. God bless.
