it is the worst thing in the world to have to bury your son..but he was A TRUE person and i hope that a least can easy your pain. I hope that something good comes from this tragic loss. my son is the same age and i talked to him and ask if someone gay was around school what would you do?? he said mom i dont care and that is not enough to hate them. please parents just talk to your kids teach them not to hate or judge their peers.
with love and respect for your GREAT SON he did the right thing

You've loved your son, unknown to us but living now as an example of love and courageous expression. I'm so sorry that he met such fear an another, and that his time here has ended so brutally. Thanks for sharing, and for reminding us to be aware daily of our love for our own sons.

Larry was braver and more in touch with his feelings than many people I know. I admire his strength to listen to his heart, instead of being stopped by ignorance, fear or intolerance. I wish everyone peace and love. I wish his family the strength they so badly need. May dear brave wonderful Larry rest in peace.

Sometimes children are taken from us suddenly. It can be tragic to ones left behind. But those children have a purpose in heaven, to become a teacher of innocence and tolerance, and sometimes to become Angels to help those left behind.
I hope that Larry's death can help change the world to be kinder in life.
I give you my heart and prayers and hope for peace in your heart.

I am praying for the family and friends of this young, sweet man. I am a Christian and I have a Christian brother who is gay. I have cried and been outraged for every hate crime against a gay or lesbian, 'cause I cannot imagine anyone killing my brother for being gay. I do not have the words to describe how my heart aches for you all. Please know you are being prayed for by strangers who care...

To the friends and family of Larry - I send my deepest condolences to you and everyone that Larry came into contact with. It is so unfortunate that we live in a society so judgemental and hate driven as we do today! I wish you all the best, and for all the strength that Larry had, to be who he was, and proud of who he was.

I couldn't imagine losing my child for any reason much less for the ignorance and vial hatred displayed in this case. My heart and prayers go out to this family and for the other boy who will need forgiveness along with education and councelling as his suffering will continue for much time to come. God Bless you, King family. May you rest in peace in the arms of God Larry.
