God Bless you and Larry! No words can take away your pain, but thank you for loving him for who he was and always will be. A beautiful, young and confidant man who loves and is loved.

It is a shame that such a wonderful person could lose his life so young because of a shameful hatred that another person desires. I dont think people realize how much we have in both the USA and Canada and its sad that Americans and Canadians still have hatred and descrimination in their blood and can't be thankful for the lives we have. We must all move on, stop living in the past and be united no matter what our religion, beleifs, races and sexualities are. Vote for change in "your" upcoming elections fellow American neighbours. God Bless Larry's Family and all mothers and fathers of gay children.

Dear Family and friends of Larry King, please accept my sympathy on the loss of this gentle soul. He had the sweetest smile and a loving heart. I didn't know him but anyone who asks another to be his valentine has a loving heart. It is so hard to write this because nothing we say will say bring Larry back. Yet, his kindness made a difference in this world. The fact that his kindness was met with violence does not dismiss the fact that Larry was living his life truthfully. What courage it must have taken for a 15 year old boy to ask another to be his valentine. How heartbreaking that the other boy felt he had to answer the question with violence. A life has been lost, futures ruined and all because we all have differences and can't even talk with each other about them. We need to educate ourselves and our children. We need to do it now. We need to do it as we remember Larry.

Thank you for showing courage and believing in yourself sweetie. I know you've been through so much but now it is time to rest :-). Like the lady said in one of the guest book signings, you have more Valentines than you can ask for :-)...and I'm now one of them. God has taken another angel from this harsh world to teach all of us a lesson to love everyone in his image and nothing else. Love that person for them and not who they are. You will be forever thought of and miss Angel.

I'm a student of Ventura High School and an active member of their GSA, Gay-Straight-Alliance. We are all pulling together to take action against hate and ignorance, as such that caused the wrong, untimely death of our brother Larry, and promote tolerance and acceptance. Our advisor has contacted several organizations and our efforts shall continue. You have our love and support. Gone but never forgotten. May he rest in peace.

Rest in peace, little one. Know your death was not in vain. We have taught our children tolerance and will do so with even more dedication after reading your story...like so many will, I believe. This world can be so cold and cruel, but if enough of us stand up and say no to it, people will have to change. If not in thought, at least in their behavior. You've touched so many people's hearts, precious child. May the King family, and friends of Larry know that the world cares and is with you.
