My deepest sympathy for the family and friends of Larry. My heart aches knowing the sorrow you must feel. I hope that healing will come from this tragic loss. His legacy will live on in a dialog of equality.

I am really sorry for your loss, I seen the video of Larry and he looks like a kind and amazing kid. He will definatly be missed. I didnt know him, i have alot in common with Larry, I am gay and I am slowly coming out. I am 21, and still affraid to tell anyone, but Larry will be my strength to tell more people.

I will remember Larry every time I have to discuss tolerance and freedom with my Jr. High Students. God rest his soul, which was brave enough to allow him to stand as a proud person!

This is a very sad day, about ten yrs after another very sad day in the history of understanding. Unfortunately and disgustingly, this has happened again, but maybe it'll serve to bring this epidemic back into the limelight where it has mistakenly been misplaced and out of the light. Your family is in my prayers and thoughts. Tim G. Jr.

I would like to say that I was raised homophobic. In this past month I found out that a dear friend of mine was gay and it really changed my way of thinking. I realize that just as some one can be judged for being gay, some one can be judged for anything. I am not God and I don't want to judge people anymore. I want to say that I have prayed and will continue to pray for Larry and his family. I want them to know how much this incedent has really effected people. It is way more than the horrible murder of a young child, it has opened the eyes for all of us to see what the world is becoming and what happens when people don't like something because they don't understand it. I am now proud to say that I have a gay friend, and I hope to have many more. I am sad to have never met Larry, but I am sure he was as much as an angel in life as he will be in death. If there is anything I can do to help the children or family please e-mail me. Best wishes<3
