Please know that I am deeply saddened by what happened to Larry. It is a terrible thing, when fear and ignorance leads to the killing of a defenseless person, whether they are a child or not. I will pray that God will be with you as you grieve. Larry is without question in heaven now.

I'm sixteen years old and I live in Sweden. I only just found out about this horrible event, I can't begin to express how angry I feel. This kind of behaviour is unacceptable, the world really needs to change. My deepest condolences to Larry's family. May Larry find peace in a place much, much better than this.

First and foremost my heart, prayers, and love go out to the King family. Such a innocent soul has been taken from us way to early and my hope is that his life shall be honored, celebrated and treasured for the beautiful little boy that Lawrence was. As a LGBT indiviual this loss hits so close to home as a result of what can happen when a nation turns a blind eye to a common day struggle known as tolerance and diversity. Such a tragedy has occured with the loss of this little boy but thru it all Lawrence is in peace and will never feel the pain of this society and with that thought I pray the family can make it thru because after the rain comes the sunshine.

My thoughts are with you and Larry will not be forgotten. This horrible act is a reminder that we have a long way to go to make the world safe for all of us. Hate needs to be addressed every day, wherever we encounter it.

I learned of Larry's senseless death today. It is so sad to think that another young boy was taught to hate so much that he choose this action. I pray for Larry's soul to be at peace with God and the hate, fear and shame that are in Brandon are erased from both his heart and of all those on earth.
