Those of whom are brutally taken away from us in this life are to be remembered for what made them great in life, not in death. The souls yearning to break free from the everyday theme of ordinary existance are to be honored for their bravery to be themselves, in a world of opposition, ignorance, and hate. They stand up with feet of beaming pride, and shout out with lungs of ambitious truth. They will be remembered through all time on earth. Rest in peace, Larry. You have a place in my heart.

I can not imagine the pain you feel in your hearts, right now. May you find some comfort in your memories and thoughts of him and most of all knowing that Larry is in a far better place than this world. You do not mourn alone. Rest in peace, Larry.

I don't know Larry. In fact, I just heard about his tragic passing over news on the internet. I would just like to extend my deepest condolences to Larry's family and friends, and pray that justice will be done. I would also like to let his family know that you are doing an amazing job keeping his memory alive, and in doing so, celebrating his short-lived, yet very meaningful and courageous, life. Even I myself, who live thousands and thousands of miles away here in Manila, have heard of Larry's story, and I would like to let his family and friends know that the whole world now knows of one courageous boy who lived. Thank you, and God bless.

My condolences to all of Larry's family and friends for the loss of this beautiful young man. I am glad to see that Larry was able to live a fulfilled life- as short as it may have been. Larry was an obvious gift to all of us. I for one am ashamed that no one could see the immense silent pain he must have been suffering during his school hours- being bullied and made fun of. So many children in our schools face this on a daily basis and as adults and parents, we need to be more aware and more involved on problems such as these that arise in our schools in this country. As I have gotten older I have come to realize that some people that our born into this world/life, are simply too beautiful to walk with us- they are gifted to our lives, to this Earth for very short periods of time so as to remind us how beautiful we can become as human beings. Obviously, Larry was one of those people. He is where he belongs now- Free and contented to do has he was meant and love and be unconditionally

To the family of Larry, your child was taken too young. I am so sorry. May God grant you peace during this difficult time. May we all work to change the hatred in this country that allows this sort of injustice to happen.

I am so sorry for your loss. Although I never met Larry, I have children of my own, and this is just heartbreaking. May you find peace in your memories of such a beautiful boy.

Dearest Larry...May you rest in peace and know that justice will be served on your behalf and that of other young victims of hate crimes. I am sadly reminded of Matthew Sheperd's horrific death a few years ago.

Dear King Family, I am so saddened by your terrible, unnecessary loss. The world lost a precious child. I pray that you find comfort knowing how many people care and by how many lives have been changed by Larry's life. He truly is an angel....
