I am so sorry. As a parent and citizen my heart is broken and so sad for you. Our children need love not hate. It is up to us as adults to lead the way for tolerance and acceptance. My prayers are with you and your family. Let this be the beginning of your righteous anger with productive results. peace be with you.

Although I did not know Larry, as a parent, my heart breaks for you. Looking at the photos of that sweet face... Intolerance unfortunately knows no bounds, but hopefully his legacy will be one that will lend courage to those of us ready to take a stand. May loving memories help you to heal...and righteous anger empower you to take a stand against hate.

Larry's murder is motivated by the hate made acceptable by our homophobic national "leaders," our gay-bashing Bush administration and members of Congress, as well as our gay-bashing religious leaders. It's time for the public to rise up against this intolerance that's also destroying our COnstitution. Larry's death will not be in vain.

Although I did not know Larry I do know the destructive power of Hate-inspired Violence and truly feel for all his freinds and family. Hopefully, this tragic act will serve as a reminder that the gay/transgendered community still has not achieved full recognition by the inept/ineffective civil rights code that governs the methodology and inactment of Hate crimes legislation. For Larry's loved ones, healing will take an enormous amount of emotional strength; for all others who hope to one day eradicate sexual intolerance, it will take solidarity and courage to keep standing up to anti-gay atrocities and rhetoric. By speaking out about incidents such as this our government and our neighbors will wake up and take responsibilty for lack of inaction. Thank You Larry 4 a lifetime of courage.

I first heard of Larry's passing on AOL News. I did not know Larry, But his story touched my heart. I can not believe to its 2008 and such hate crimes are still going on, and it has now reach our younger generations. From Larry's pictures you can tell he was so happy from childhood up. He was such a little cutie. RIP Larry. To his family: I am sorry for your loss, you are all in my prayers and in my thoughts. God Bless...
