We all live within the same world; breathe the same air; go to the same schools; live within the same community. I cannot express how saddened I am by this. It has awakened more and more people, telling everyone of how much importance these troubles are All I have to say, is that no one will ever forget Lawrence- if it can reach all the way across the United States, then there was someone really special out there; someone with a bright future in mind, and a sparkling personality! And I will always keep him in my mind- reminding me of how obscene our world can be. But then I will think of everyone who has felt this pain of loss, and everyone who is standing up for him, and others who have endured this fate- and I will smile: not for the loss, but for everybody who never forgot; who never gave up trying. A person's a person, no matter who they are. And I believe Lawrence King is changing things for the better. Rest in Peace, Lawrence King Your spirit will remain with us forever

Although I did not know Larry personally,I did know Greg and Dawn years ago when my own son played T-ball and Greg was his coach. My own son is gay and my heart and prayers go out to the King Family. He will not be forgotten. We are all God's children, no matter what our sexual orientation is. Please know that there are many people out here that are praying for you.

This was such sad day when I heard this on the news, its just not fear for an innocent childs life have to be tooken bc of living his life,I am the same way as Lawrence was I am so dissapointed in children hating someone bc of their lifestyle ad am also disappointd in adults teaching hate to their child we all need to take a stand no matter wht our sexuality is and speak out in our schools,Like the Mother of th Late Matthew Shepard's mother Judy Shepard doesin Collages but we need more ppl to speak out in Jr hig schools and in high schools and they should be turned in to programs to fight against Homophobia,It hasn't even been 10 yrs after Matthew Shepards murder for being gay in Laramie Wy its just a sad world we are living in bc ppl cant accept others for who they are! godbless The King family your thoughts ndprayers are with me always!

My prayers go out to you and your family. Your spirit will be with every young gay man and woman that suffers from hatred like the kind you experienced. I will say a prayer and light a candle for you. - nugget

what a senseless tragedy. why can't people just let others be themselves without thinking they have to kill some innocent victim to prove a point? no one ever has the right to take anothers life for any reason at all. this just makes me sick when i hear of a child being murdered before they even have the chance to live. Rest in Peace Lawrence. I wish someone could've protected you.
