It truly breaks my heart that we have lost another young person because of hatred and intolerance. You WILL NOT be forgotten....

We won't let his death be forgotten. He was a beautiful child, just radiant. People who preach hate and disrespect are responsible for his death. My heart goes out to your family. I'm sure your beautiful boy is still with you. You can tell that his spirit is strong.

As a mother myself, I cannot imagine the heartache you are feeling. May God be with you and your family. Lord, please watch over Larry.

I was saddened and horrified to hear the story of Larry's tragic murder. My thoughts are with the family, and my hopes are for a day when people don't hate one another for such ridiculous reasons. Shame on the family who taught their child to hate so young.

I am so sorry that some people in this world can't accept people for who they are. You think, perhaps, that people have started to see the errors of their ways but it's only the beginning. All my thoughts and prayers go out to Lawrence and his family. Know that I will fight in your name.

I'm still in shock that this happened, because I was naive enough to think that maybe our country was starting to let go of some of it's hatred. I didn't know Larry, but his pictures show a sweet, caring young man; I can only imagine what he must have been like to those who loved him. Rest in peace sweet angel.

To the King Family and Friends: My heart aches for you...and you are in my prayers. May you feel God's comfort in this time of sorrow. Know that Larry's fearlessness gives me strength to walk proud as a gay man. His light still shines bright for the world to see. To his parents, thank you for having the courage to let Larry be himself. Most parents would be more interested in what their peers would think than loving their child for who he is.. It gives me comfort to know that eventhough school was a battlefield for him, he had a home to return to with a family that loved him and kept him encouraged. Only love through time will help heal this wound...And I wish it's speed. Sincerely, John Lucas

It's such a sad world we live in when our children aren't even safe going to school, bettering themselves. My thoughts are with this family, as is the rest of the country's.

I am so glad this site was made for Larry he deserved it. We should remember him. He had the courage unlike others to stand out and be himself no matter what people would say. My son had Gym class with Larry, He said he was very nice and funny. He said other kids would always make fun of him just because he was different. Aren’t we all different? This is such a tragedy and my heart and Prayers go out to all Larry’s friends and Family.
