I'm cheerleader who read this story. I really want to help stop things like this from happening. Larry King was in middle school, teachers need to stop trying to act like gay students don't belong and so do parents. That could have prevented Larry's and every other openly-homosexual person who has or ever will be killed.

first, my heart goes out to the family that is so sad that a young person had to loose his life like that over something so stupid and petty like that. he is in a much better place now heaven. don't worry you will see him again someday soon may god bless all of you.

It's hard to type the emotions and thoughts I have toward Larry and his family. A simple, "sorry for your loss" is an understatement. I've been reading this story and watching videos after videos about this tragedy for a while now, and in my eyes, Larry is a legend to the gay & lesbian community. He changed the lives of many people around the world. His story is something truly unforgettable. My heart goes out to all the victims and their families who had to go through this kind of tragedy.

I just read the article in Newsweek and this was such a senseless murder. No matter what Larry did to this boy Brandon there was no need for the killing. I remember how hard it was at school but kids are under far more pressure now a days it ends up like this. I am sorry Larry was murdered and I am sorry Brandon will get out of Juvi when he is 18 because he will do this hate crime again later in life. Larry, you are and will be a special person to everyone who has read this and who knew you. Much love to your family, The Russells. 10/10/2008.

I have seen many videos as a tribute to you,Larry, some speak of such great hate to people with a different sexual orientation it is sickening to hear of a young boy killing another over this and to judge someone for there sexual orientation or look or anything is just wrong.May Larry King truly rest in peace i did not know him but he has touched the lives of many all over the world.
