Dear King family, I am really saddened by the fact that someone would do something so evil. Its nice to see that you guys are involved with the Christian faith just like me. It makes it comforting to know that Larry had a Christian family. God knows that he had a good heart, and he will never be forgotten. I am really sorry, and wished that I had lived in the same city so that I could have attended the memorial service. My prayers go out to you, and hope that God comforts you and brings something good out of what Satan meant for evil.

Larry, Time has passed but I have never forgotten you. I will never forget the story of a boy I wish I knew and could have protected. I'll never forget the story of the boy I consider my hero for not being afraid to live his life as he sees fit. You have such courage little man. I love you.

Hear of this made me very upset yet made me realize how unknowledged the world really is about the gay community. As a gay person myself, I know how helpless people really feel while trying to make the world understand. However, helping the world understand is easy to do when you know the incredible people within the group your trying to help. With people like Lawrence within the people your trying to help, the job is much more important. Although he may no longer get to live his life through, I hope that every person live there life for him. With purpose and support. -Timothy Adams Age 18

first i would like to send my deepest condolences to the friends and family of larry. i heard about his tragic death on youtube and my heart completely sank to the ground. from what i heard larry was a great and fun kid who life was cut short over someone's stupidity. if larry was still alive i will go to CA and tell him thank you for becoming a hero. although i'm not gay i have gay friends and just hearing this story makes me realize that gays have feelings and are regular people like everyone else...once again on behalf of my family we would like to send our condolences to the family and friends of larry king...Larry thank you..we love you...miss you...and forever be our hero...1 love

I have been through almost the exact same plight. I came out in highschool in texas and I am the only gay teen in my school. I asked a guy out and he threatened to harm me but luckily he never did so. I am so saddened by lawrences death and i will personally work to stamp out all hatred toward any other human being for as long as I live. I have been through so much torment and I will do my best to assure a much brighter future for the gay teens that come after us. I can only imagine what the family is going through and if there is anything I can do then please send me an email.

As I sit here and read passages from Larry's family and friends I am starting to tear up. Some of them are very moving and sad. I was especially saddened when his parents wished him a Happy Birthday. He will be missed by so many people. Even by those who never knew him. I wish I could have been blessed to know him. My Christian faith tells me that one day I will get to know him in heaven. I know that he is safe in the arms of Christ. He will always have a special place in my heart and I will always tell his story. We all must stand up for Lawrence King and tell his story. We must never forget him. I will do everything I can to keep his memory alive. Together we can put a stop to ignorance and intolerence toward children like Larry. No one should have their life cut short due to hate and violence. Togther we can change the world! GOD BLESS and never be afraid to be yourself.
