You condemned Larry King for asking Brandon to be his Valentine, saying he should not have done that. You condemned him for acting effeminate, saying he should not have done that. You said Brandon felt embarrassed and no one would help him with the problem so he solved it himself—and some of you wore bracelets saying ‘Free Brandon’ Since WHEN did it become acceptable to kill somebody who embarrassed you? What is this the Wild, Wild West? Kill anybody who doesn’t act like you THINK they should?

The past couple months in my Anthropology, Sociology and Psychology course, we watched Valentine Road as apart of our culminating task. I was touched and deeply saddened by the loss of sweet Larry King. He seemed like such an amazing person and although I had no part, I feel guilty that his life was taken away from him at such a young age. I know that it's been a couple years since, but I hope all of his friends are doing alright. I didn't know Larry personally, but he will always be in my heart. Lots of Love to you all xo

I just watched the documentary about this tragedy, it is so sad that in this world still there is so much hate and more shocking that it is tolerated and defended! The anger and disgust I felt listening to people defend a killer and condemn an innocent child WTf is wrong with people? My heart goes out to all affected by hatred and bigotry!

Just today I saw the HBO documentary, I do not know either, but I firmly believe that everyone has the right to be who he is and feels like to be happy .... I do not agree on little tolerance or blindness humanity ... What about us? Why act like monsters? Regretted what happened to Larry and hopefully not have to suffer many more like him ... I wish leave the post in Spanish it is also a sign of openness and tolerance ....
