I just found out about this from Brittany off of Tila Tequila's a Shot ot love season 2. She left a few videos in a bulletin and they brought me to tears. No one should ever be killed, no matter what age gender or race for being gay. Love is love and no person on this planet should be able to stop another human being from loveing who they do. It's so sad to see that Larry was killed just for asking that other boy to be his valentine. I see my friends get bashed on all the time, and i awlays do what i can to stick up for them. It's wrong that so many people want love but then say it's wrong for someone else to find love, even if it is with somone from the same gender, it's just hypocritical and wrong in so many ways.

Larry....i'm so very sorry for the way u were "thrown out" of this life. this hatred NEEDS 2 b stopped. may u rest forever. love,

I did not know Larry. I don't watch the news much and I've only found out about this today. It's 7/16/08. I'm a gay man in Maryland. I can't tell you how sad I am for your loss. It's sickening on how intolerant and homophobic people are in America a.k.a "The land of the free and the home of the brave". As a gay culture we're not very free but Larry was very brave for knowing who he was and not letting what anyone said bring him down. You have my sympathies and prayers.

NO ONE should die for loving someone else. i have taught my sons that love is all encompassing...so reciprocate it. be flattered that someone thought of you to notice you and to love you. it doesnt matter what culture, sex, color or orientation someone may be. we are all this together...my children are being raised to accept that. love is everything and it shines in thier eyes. my upmost and most honest sympathies to the family. and my upmost and most honest compliments on raising a son to be unafraid for who he is...loving.

I am sitting here broken after seeing this very emotional clip from myspace. I am a mother as well and I just want to say that it is very heart wrenching to hear of things of this nature and to actually see this precious child's face is even more heart breaking. I live on the island of Hawaii and in Larry's rememberance I will do my part to teach other's that hatred is wrong no matter what the circumstance. I never had the privilege to know you baby Larry but I Love You from this moment on. I think for a Mother Love is unconditional for every child it's like a circle it has no beginning and it has no end. Rest in Love and Peace baby Larry and know that your memory will live on forever. Much Love and Aloha to you all and may God keep you in his loving arms.

When I heard about this story...immediately I started crying. This was such a senseless crime. So unecessary. My heart goes out to all of Larry's family and friends. Things need to change in this country. And fast. This is the proof of that.

To say that what happened to this young man is a tragedy is clearly an understatement. The fact that someone could take his fate into their own hands is an abomination of God. There is only one judge and the Lord would not justify what that monster did to Larry. God bless you, your family and all who has had the pleasure of making your aquaintance.
