why cant the world be more tolerant. It makes me so angry that a young life has been taken away, my heart hurts for this young man and his family. May he rest in peace.

I sit here and tears run down my face, this story is so sad yet so inspiring. He died trying to be who he really was and for that he should never have to had paid with his life. But his life clearly has encourage the world to speak out against such attacks.... May you find happiness in his life and joy to know he is in a better place....

How many times I have read on myspace and other sites like it, questions like: who would you like to meet? and the answer be "someone real, someone who is himself, someone who is sensitive true and honest" well, are these just words? Larry was being real, he was being himself and now he watches over all of us. Two families destroyed... Some say "oh but only 14 and judged as an adult?" I ask, did he not judge as an adult when he killed? How can someone so young have so much hate in his heart, I wonder and I pray.

I just read your story. My heart aches for your family and friends. I pray that people can learn to be more accepting one day soon before more beautiful children lose thier lives because of hate and ignorance. We live in a country where it is illegal in most states for people in love to marry and people are judged by thier sexuality and/or appearance. Until people open thier hearts these tragedies will continue unfortunately. I will keep your story close to my heart and you in my prayers. xoxo

To Larry's friends, and family. I hope you will eventually learn to not think of his death, but of his life. I did not know him,but you should cherish his memory, and it seems that you are. We will not let you die in vain Larry.. we will do our best to keep fighting,so other gays and different's, can be themselves without fear. I hope you sleep peacefully where you are. Larry may you rest in peace at last. It is a tragedy and a travesty 2008 years after the birth of Christ, people are still taught hatred in the name of God and "family values". I wish religions would teach love instead of war, patience instead of intolerance, forgiveness instead of hatred and compassion instead of judgment. 2008 years after the birth of Christ, our people are still persecuted by the “moral” majority of all ages all over the world.
